T shirts are "IN" in 2015.

Have you looked at your wardrobe lately? What do you have the most? Maybe it's a pair of denim pants, socks, or polos and blouses or even jackets? I bet you would agree with me that most of us have t-shirts in our closet, whether we use it as a home wear or as a shirt under a formal blazer or jacket. Whatever that maybe, we are in agreement that most of us have shirts that well, are sometimes plain and not stylish. Now, you can make a difference in the shirt you wear! Do you want to have an uber fashionable shirt without looking too casual? Or do you go for a glam look, guy-next-door aura, a sexy siren or a simply pretty appearance? Tshirt Factory Outlet has it all for you.

The hippest, most fashion forward, super stylish and definitely comfortable shirt company is what to watch out for this 2013. Aside from providing sufficient comfort, their shirts are uniquely design, specially manufactured, and definitely a stand-out. For both young and old, men and women, simple and fashionista, they can have it all and well, redefine even your taste in casual fashion.

Their imported shirts are making waves in the casual clothing industry today.

Never can you find someone wearing this style that is why I was so excited to wear two of their rock and summer inspired shirts: Tapout and Hollister. Thanks to Tshirt Factory outlet for giving me the opportunity to feature your stylish yet very affordable shirts. Dont' forget, they also have apparel for men, ladies, kids, infants, plus sizes, as well as underwear for adults and kids, all within your reach.

The Tapout shirt is the coolest thing I wore as a fashion blogger. The ecclectic and rockish design gives it a more masculine and hip vibe like the one you wear when you want to go rebellious. This look is not common for me. Matched with that brown leather belt and some skinny denims and black boots, this shirt does not need any necklace to look fab! Its design is just as urban and modern as it is!

What I did to make it more fabulous is wear it with a black leather jacket  to give it a more vibrant appeal. Check out how I wear the shirt, would you agree it's just simply cool without trying too much? There is no other pair of pants that can be matched with this shirt...only skinny or fitted denims...

Just look at the tribal, enigmatic design of Tapout at the back of this shirt...Isn't this interestingly cute? You look good in front and more so at the back....Two ways though: if you want to flaunt the front details, wear a jacket but if you want to show the complete look of the shirt, no need to cover it up.

The red-orange shirt that made my day last Sunday. This stylish design of Hollister shirt is what stands out aside from its sexy color. With a black fitted pants and some blue belt and orange spiked cuff, this shirt is something to wear if you are hoping for a day off at the mall, walking down the beach, going to the market or even making your way into the Divisoria or Baclaran stalls to shop.  Do you know how much these two shirts are? Well, you might be surprised they cost P250 pesos. Isn't that wonderful?

TSHIRT FACTORY OUTLET is your neighborhood fashion boutique...No need to go anywhere to buy that perfect shirt. for orders, you may want to visit their store or call them and/or email at:

At School of Fashion and the Arts

It was September 8, 2012, I was 32 back then. We had our presentation for the Fashion Styling Class at the School of Fashion and the Arts. Our professor, actress Ms. Marina Abad Santos Benipayo was able to teach us fluently the basics, techniques and tips in fashion styling. As a final requirement, we had to conduct a photo shoot with the theme: Orange. Our guest judge was the editor-in-chief of Cosmpolitan, Ms. Myrza Sison. Here are some of the highlights during the said output presentation.

FASHIONISTA song...an analysis

One of my favorite fashion songs of all time is Fashionista by Jimmy James, aside of course from Vogue by Madonna and Fashion by Lady Gaga and David Bowie. Here, I would like to share my introspective, provocative and detailed analysis of the song, well, perhaps, it needed one.

To all the fashionistas, isn't it time for us to ponder on some good songs and don't rely only on the beat. Whether the song makes us wanna walk the runway, if you have one, or simply lift up that mood for shopping, styling or even beauty make-up, fashion songs have changed the mindset of stylish individuals to the point of experiencing LSS (last song syndrome).

Are you readyHere we goYou should always be ready for fashion, always be stylish and wear the right clothes...by the way, the world is our runway

Designers are the godsThey make fashion come alive. Without them, there can be no style or fashion.

Which one of you would ever dare to go againstThat beauty is a trade and everyone is paid

Recently, beauty has become a commodity. It is after all the multi-billion dollar business and has shaped  and influenced both men and women all over the world. When beauty is made and not born, it becomes a reality, from botox to plastic surgery, beauty nowadays becomes fake and that's because of so much advertisement that try to define our lives. Beauty is STILL in the eyes of the beholder and that's always been a fact. For some, beauty is relative but for others, beauty should be defined. I even once researched that there are levels of becoming beauty...CUTE, PRETTY, BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS, AND FINE. Whatever it is called, inner beauty is still what counts because your outside appearance is a reflection of your inner beauty.

ChorusFashionistaHow do you look?Fashionista How do you look?Fashionista

The term fashionista is  a person stylish enough to call attention or interest or stop a truck. But, everyone is called fashionistas. The only thing that defines fashionista is that if you wear something trendy, modern, sophisticated or different, you are already called fashionista, but this is not the case. You can even wear just a tee, black belt, denim and sneaker and can be called fashionista.I think that fashionista is an expression of one's sense of style, which should not be absolute definition but a relative, personal and individualistic taste.

(Beauty has a price)
Beauty again, as I say is the most expensive form of commodity in the world. Try to count billions of people wanting to look good and beautiful. Since most of us are visual people, everyone wants to see something beautiful. Who doesn't?

If you pay my way

Philippines is not one of the fashion capitals in the world. The countries above have already made a mark in the fashion industry. Because, it is so expensive and arduous to enter any of the fashion weeks in these destinations, I would simply watch them in FashionTV or Fashion one channels. But, my biggest dream which is in my bucket list is to watch any of these shows in Milan, GUCCI, in Paris, CHANEL , in NEW YORK, Michael Kors, in LONDON, Burberry..

What are you wearing?Who are you wearing ?What are you wearing?Who are you wearing?

The question nowadays is "Who are you wearing? instead of " What are you wearing?" That is because designers have left an impression that you and I are wearing their collection. You must not only know the label, you must also know the creative director/designer behind the label...The next time someone asked you, be sure you know how to answer such as" I am wearing Prada or Gucci or local designer Veejay Floresca, Renee Salud or Michael Cinco

Schon, John, Calvin KleinDonna Karan's fashion lineValentino, YSLFerragamo and ChanelHalston, Gucci, FiorucciDon't forget my PucciFendi and ArmaniGod I miss GianniKenneth Cole, Michael KorsMr. Ford I can't affordD&G and BCBG

Among the brands stated above, my fave is Gucci, Michael Kors and Chanel because of their luxurious, expensive, high fashion and intricate details. By the way, they are the most imitative brands I know. When you to markets, you can always find Class A, replica brands.

Looking good is never easy

Looking good is easy for me...right clothes, right hair, right make-up, and of course right ATTITUDE. But, again one must have inner confidence to be able to wear a complete look.

I do not think she is such. She is the most versatile, profound, professional and classic supermodel I know in the entire world. I don't care what others are saying, so as long she can deliver.

Then again, we always say that for one to fit into anything, you must be tall and thin. But fashion can be suitable to any body types. One has to remember to appropriately suit the BODY to the attire/clothes rather than the other way around.

What to wear in 2015 summer

Let's face it: accessories either make you or break you! It does not take a long time for any girl who wants to look good to put on some bangles, necklaces or rings. However, when women are faced with various accessories, they usually just want to wear them all, just like an arm party collection on the wrist or a dozen piece of necklaces hanging over the outfit.Whatever accessories women want to wear, it all depends on the color, texture, style of the dress or outfit more so, how one should carry them. Any attire can look outlandish or fabulous if not partnered with the appropriate accessories. You will definitely agree with me that an accessory is an addition to beauty, an added value to a dress and can make or break any look! Check out what I have for you below: Since, summer is here in the Philippines. I decided to go for an all out war, that is, an arm party:

Here you can see I matched the five piece arm party collection with a skull leather cuff, a brown naturally made wristlet, a spike leather bracelet,  a black onyx and a charmed bracelet. Styling tip: Be sure you don't match the same colors or styles to give your arm party a flair and a flavor.

But, when it comes to accessorizing myself, I only choose one fashion accessory: the Chick Flick! Remember that any woman wants to look fabulous always and any outfit would not be complete without a piece of accessory. Chick Flick, which reminds me of  movies dedicated to young girl teens or growing up ladies, has it all. Here, I am wearing a floral fabric ring from Chic Flick. Isn't it cute?It definitely highlights my skin tone.

An arm party collection rendition of Chic Flick featuring a silver and black round beads, a white spiked leatherette bracelet, an orange wristlet, a black and gold tiny beaded bracelet and a brown-gold ensemble. Take note that all round beads, when doing an arm party, should not go together. Try to insert some leather or anything made of wood, cloth or brass.

Only Chic Flick delivers the two rings in perspective to fashion. One portrait ring and the other butterfly ring can catch anyone's attention. The good thing about these rings are that they are effortlessly fabulous. Add glamour to your outfit with these rings and surely, you can now walk and stand tall confidently.

Another favorite from Chic Flick is this elephant brass necklace which does not contrast with the background of my printed shirt. You don't need to wear something plain or monochrome so that your accessories will always stand out. What you can do is wear something that is edgy but still resembles that stylish, sexy but awesome appeal.

Of course, Chic Flick having pink as the official color, places all the orders of its customers in this cute black, netted cover with a tag from Chic Flick, contact numbers as well as facebook and instagram details. Now, you don't have to worry for your accessories to get lost, just place them here and viola! You are now on the go!

Look they also have a dancing lady long necklace for a price of P 120.00. This is already worth it.

Finally, the Chic Flick collection of rings from snake, to butterfly, to pearls and peacocks and even to mustache. With a wide array of colors to choose from, you can surely match every piece to any outfit you like!

Ladies, it's time to be the CHIC  as you always are! Wear these fabulous and affordable accessories and FEEL THE NEW YOU! Stand out, besides it's Women  Month. So, celebrate YOU! For orders, contact Ms. Leine De Jesus at 09178578968 now! Like Chic Flick on facebook!

Newspaper into Fashion

There are three ways to save the environment: reuse, reduce and recycle.Nothing is more captivating by transforming waste into fashionable products and no one does this better than the Solo Parent Group headed by Ms. Luzviminda Madrinan who hails from San Rafael, Bulacan. This is an organization that seeks to help out solo parents both men and women who seek clean livelihood in the form of bag making. Without any formal fashion accessory schooling, this group of parents is both gifted and creative having transformed neglected newspapers into profit. We all know that we can make something out nof these news papers but we never knew it can be in the form of bags! And, truly, I love bags because bags envelop your life and they are a manifestation of your personal lifestyle. In every bag I wear, it carries with me my whole personal appeal and interests!

For those solo parents staying at home, I have a question for you: Why settle at home and do nothing when you can learn the art of bag making from waste and eventually earn from it? Mind you, it's not just waste, these are old newspapers which can be turned into fashionable pieces like the one I am wearing below:

The checkered blue polo with denim jacket perfectly befits the newspaper bag that can be used as a shopping bag, a tote, a fashionable piece, a tablet container or even an accessory item. What's good about this it can accommodate up to 5 kilos. So my shopping needs are all complete since I need not anymore carry any plastic bags. It's intricate designs and newspaper details make it more stylish so you can carry it wherever you go. You can even catch anyone's attention with this elegantly crafted and beautifully designed masterpiece of shall I say, hard work, perseverance and love of our solo parents. Look at what industry and patience can bring to fashion! With the dedication of these parents, they can make you including me, delighted as they bring us these newspaper carry along bags that are worthy of emulation by others.

Check out what other fabulous items newspapers can turn into. These are brought to you by:

Eco-friendly dyaryo bags for life which is a hardwork-oriented output of the San Rafael Solo Parents Federation. They even conduct seminars, so if you wanna take part in it, earn extra income, or earn a livelihood then, this is what you are waiting for! The income that can give you life. In addition, you are also helping the environment, increase awareness and promote local products. Aren't we supposed to do that after all?  I mean, we should go back to our roots and patronize "sariling atin" we need not anymore buy something foreign or branded and spend much when we can purchase this recyclable bag that speaks of culture, nature and future!

Intricately woven, this bag with its cultured handle can match any outfit from boho chic look to an urban defined style. The color contemplates with any outfit and shoes too.

Who knows this is made of newspaper? From afar, it seemed like an stitched fabric but if you look closely, the bag's style is reminiscent of a fifty's fashion era where women would love to wear ostentatious accessories. Surely, this bag can create envy among women.

This cute handbags can be used as your kikay set when you want to place your make-up and other accessories. Distinct yet striking, this bag will make you go back to nature all the time!

Tote bags need not be made of the same material, canvass, leather or even plastic. It can be made out of newspaper and what a way to help the environment and still look fabulous by wearing this tote made exclusively from recyclable materials.

I called this the handbag of the future, this awesome piece speaks of function and fashion. Delectably styled with a durable handle, you can definitely rock any cocktail dress and still carry this handbag. One-of-a-kind bag, you have nothing to worry about having a duplicate piece.

But just how are these products made? A thesis proposal on the Consumers' Perception toward the eco-friendly bags made out of woven newspaper:Promoting Dyaryo Bags for Life Products" made by Laine Manalese described how these newspaper materials are turned into fashionable bags:

"The bag-making process begins with sheets of newspaper tightly rolled into small strips. The strips are woven by hand to form the base, sides and flaps of the bag. The number of strips used depends on the size of the bag and then followed creativity and taste. Braided twine or leatherette can be attached as trim or handles. Colorful beads or metal rings can also be added for style. Then finally a coat of lamination called laminating glue is applied over the newspaper for protection. Dyaryo Bags for Life even contacted artists to paint on some bags to make them more attractive and saleable. The making of the bags sounds like a lot of work but the worker’s hard works are well worth the effort. The finished newspaper bags are stunningly beautiful and fashionable."

So, don't just be fashionable for the sake of mother nature! Integrate both concepts and be environmentally stylish! Are you prepared to do this? I know I am. Thus, I am ordering more of these products. Why wait now?

For orders and seminars, please contact Ms. Luzviminda Madrinan of San Rafael Solo Parent Federation at 0932-727-4347 and 0915-3242-571. Of course, like them on Facebook: Dyaryo Bags For Life!

Necklace at its Finest

Let us all agree, not everyone wants to wear a long beaded necklace all the time, even during shopping. Some women just keep those beautiful neck pieces in their drawers and well, reserve them for special occasions like weddings and parties. But, I found one accessory designer in the name of Marshela Jamaira Tan who is incomparably genius when it comes to accessories. She is a graduate of accessory designing at the prestigious Fashion Institute of the Philippines. Her passion for necklaces is both astounding and ingenious since she can transform any precious stones into eye-catching, elaborate and intricately designed necklaces, which are of course one-of-a-kind. When you wear these pieces, everybody will look at you and your neck and you will not worry that someone has the same piece as yours.  So, for this week, I flaunted her beautiful stoned necklaces, with an ensemble of purple and lavander.

This does not look heavy on me since I can always carry any accessory. I just simply match it with a burgundy maupe poncho and printed shirt and complete the look with shades by Classified. If I can certainly rock this piece, so can any lady out there. Ms. Marshela does it creatively and exclusively for you. You can even name the accessory with your name on it.

Let me introduce you to the avant garde designer of this accessory:

Just as her love for fashion and style, I too am fortunate to endorse her creations to the world. Featured in this look are with this round big-stone necklace along with a denim jacket, statement shirt and denim pants.

Hey, what's more, she does not only make this piece, she can turn those stones into one striking ensemble of glitz, beauty and glamour. It's not a bling bling. It's a masterpiece of hard work and passion for style.

Fashion Styling Tips

STYLING YOURSELF AND FINDING THE INNER FASHIONISTA IN YOU NEED NOT BE A FUSS. HERE ARE  TEN USEFUL STYLE TIPS FOR EVERYONE:

1) EARRINGS - USE THEM SPARINGLY.. unless you don't want it to overshadow your outfit..Use studs and dangling alternately.

2. NECKLACE - If your outfit already has a statement stud, design, embroidery, accent, sequin, do not anymore put on a necklace because it will overrule the outfit. THE LESSER, THE BETTER.

3) SHOES  -  Match the color of your shoes with either your bag, pants or the entire outfit. Do not wear socks that are the same color of your shoes unless it is white or black. Be careful with colors, it can work or not work for you.

4) TIE - ties should only be worn with a long sleeve polo, not with a barong, a short sleeve, a polo or t-shirt. If your long sleeve has stripes or accent, avoid ties with prints or pattern. On the other hand, ties with pattern or print should be used with plain colored, monochromatic polo. A bow tie will work but do not wear them all the time.

5)  TOPS/BOTTOMS - the polo, shirt, blouse, whatever the design is should matched in color, style and design with the bottoms you are wearing. Colors should be limited to three. Four colors, and you will look like somebody selling ice cream. Combining tops and bottoms should be limited to three, IF it is a four -piece, make sure they are color coordinated.

6)  COLOGNE- use perfume, cologne only when you have taken a bath. You do not want your odor mixed with that expensive eau de toilette, otherwise, people will run away from you, even the BEES....

7)  BRACELET - the less sounding it is, the better. Stick to two to three colors only. It should matched with the outfit. You can wear them as may as you like if you are wearing a plain tank top and some denim shorts...

8)  BAGS-  A small bag is for the party, a large one for travel, a medium for office. If you do not plan to carry any bag, and you end up shopping, avoid carrying plastic (BUT WE CANNOT AVOID THEM). Recyclable bags should be always at hand, whenever you go out. You might never know what you can buy when you drop by an urban bazaar.

9)  SOCKS -- should not be multicolored. Avoid wearing them when you are with sandals, but please do wear one with leather and sneaker. Color should match either the pants and shoes. Avoid those striped, patterned socks. For guys, please have them long enough so that when you cross your legs, your skin will not show. For girls, shoe socks, or sandal protectors should not be seen.

10) UNDERWEAR -  When you are wearing a skimpy, see through slacks, a T-back may be useful (if you can carry them without hurting yourself) , so that your bikini line will not show. For boys, avoid wearing  underwear that catches the audience of your back, as it seems that everybody now a days wears similar branded stuff. Use fabric conditioner all the time to preserve the garter and texture of the underwear. Should you need styling tips from me, or want to make over yourself, just leave your comments below and I'll be happy to reply to you immediately.
